If you could live your life as the character of a TV show, who would you be and why?

I would choose to live my life as Pee-Wee Herman inside Pee-Wee's playhouse. I could eat egg sandwiches any time I chose, masturbate in my prive theatre, and sit around thinking of secret words.
I think it comes as no surprise to anyone that I would choose to be Buffy Summers, aka Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I would like to go around kicking ass while wearing fashionable outfits.
She also had good-looking boyfriends, which would be a plus. Even if they were technically dead.
I don't really watch narrative tv anymore aside from The Sopranos (and who would want to be a character in it?), reruns of Law and Order (ditto), and Big Love (polygamy seems to be more hassle than it's worth, and all the non-polygamists are self-righteous in the show).
So my two choices are both from "reality" tv programs: anyone from Mythbusters because I'd get to live in the Bay area and blow up shit, or Simon Cowell because I'd get paid to be mean to people. Of course, I would have to put up with Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, and Ryan Seacrest, so there would be a trade off . . . .

I would like to be Anthony Bordain (sic) from his show No Resevations. Yeah it's a food show, but one where you travel all around the world and all he does is swear, smoke and drink through it all. Oh and he eats food. Now that's not just a career, it's a lifestyle.
